The past few days I have been busy...
both preparing for girls camp and drinking lots of water.
of the last five days...four of them I have had at least 68 fluid ounces
One day I only got in 48 ounces
But in the last 10 days this is what has happened
I am not as tired in the day
I have had more energy to clean my house
YES....I still need to make more bathroom trips
My skin on my face feels softer (in defense I am using my moisturizer more...but I was using it regularly without the water...they seem to be working together, better than it did just on its own)
I am not as hungry
My natural thirst for water has returned
My goal in challenging myself to water was to drink 101 ounces a day (per article I read) and see the results after 28 days. I am not up to that 101 ounces yet...
However I was only consuming 20-40 ounces a day
And in 10 days I have significantly increased it
So I still have the same goal
It just might take me a month to get to that day ONE of the Challenge
But I am going to keep recording my progress with water...
This is my 10 days on Water pic:
The picture can't really translate the feel of my skin on my face. But I have noticed the deep lines on my forehead that have been there since my mid 20's are a little less defined. I can't stand them...so if that is the only improvement with water...it is worth it to me!

Day Five
Today I helped plan our girls camp. I was in a meeting for 6 hours. I helped our sister missionaries move...and Yet... I still got down 88 fluid ounces. Pretty happy about that. I am a work in progress, but it is definitely getting easier!

Day Four
Not sure how long it will take to consistently get me to 101 ounces. But what I can say this week is that I have consistently been drinking at least 64 fluid ounces. Before I was drinking maybe 20-40 ounces. So I am pleased with this progress. And again even though it will take me more than 28 days to do the "28 day" water challenge... I am ok with that because I am making great progress.
So things I have noticed:
I am definitely sleeping better
I have my natural thirst back
I am less hungry throughout the day
It is less difficult to get the water down, my body wants water
I am more regular and imagine that will just keep getting better (I usually am not)
Obviously I have to use the restroom more, and that is slightly inconvenient but with all the upsides of what I am doing, I can live with that.
Now if I could abandon my sweet tooth too...Imagine the progress I could make!!!

Day Three
Today was more difficult than yesterday because 3 hours of my mid day when I would drink water were spent at church. But I did get 65 ounces in today. I am calling that a victory because I was only drinking 20-30 just a week ago.
We will see about tomorrow.
We will see about tomorrow.

Day Two
I didn't realize this would be so difficult.
It will take me more than 28 days evidently to drink 101 ounces of water for 28 days straight. But yesterday was a good start to getting my mind set on the idea of more water and going in the right direction.
I drank about 40 ounces (maybe 50...there was a glass I think I missed counting)
What I noticed:
Obviously...a lot more trips to the little girl's room.
And...I slept better last night.
Although I did have crazy dreams...but we are not going to correlate water with them.
So here goes day two...I will report back...
Update:
Did great today!
I did it and a little more.
120 ounces of water today.
Lots of potty breaks.
But I think I over did it....
Horrible burping and stomach pain when I ate dinner out.
Thinking I better stick to 101 and spread them out better through the day.
I have 22 ounce cup and that really helps...since I only have to drink 5 of those.

Day One
Here it is... Day ONE photo.
This morning I can across a post from a woman in England. One year older than I am, she was having some health problems and head aches and decided to follow her neurologist's advice and increase her water to 3 liters or 101 ounces. The change in 28 days was incredible.
So I am taking the water challenge!
Check in weight...181.4
We shall see...
